Satz is founded in 2009 by Danish Furniture Designers David & Karen Mintz and started out as a small workshop with a vision to create timeless, elegant bamboo furniture in the Danish design tradition.

It is our belief that to reduce the carbon footprint associated with production, raw materials should be processed close to their natural habitat. Local skills should be developed from a mere craft to a more commercial level so that the value added in terms of knowledge and profit will benefit the local population."

Today Satz exports furniture to all corners of the world from the plant in Binh Duong Province about 60 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
