Bamboo furniture is durable, beautiful and eco-friendly. You can treat your bamboo furniture much the same as you would any of your other hardwood furnishings. As with other wood furniture, you should not allow your bamboo to stay wet for very long. If it get wet, place it in the sun, in a breezeway, or dry it with a cool hair dryer to keep the water from settling into the bamboo.
Bamboo furniture can be used out-doors all summer long, but it is best you store it in a dry place in autumn, winter and early spring. The legs can absorb water when left standing on a watery or wet surface. This must kept to a minimum. A good place for out-door bamboo furniture is the patio, the conservatory or a roofed veranda, you can leave it here all year round.
